July 22, 2026 -- Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, WA Stats: 20.6 km / 870m gain / 1973m high / 5:50 hours MT It was a picture perfect day. And as I suspected, the hot unbearable temperatures and haze in the Fraser Valley were not an issue, being so close to Mt. Baker. The cool breeze sweeping off of Mt. Baker's glaciers felt refreshing. Maritimes, part 1 - NB, PEI & NS
We covered a lot of ground on this trip, catching the highlights in these three provinces in one week before taking the ferry to Newfoundland where we spent three weeks.
