I woke to see a winter wonderland on my doorstep.

So peaceful and tranquil.

March 17

I picked up the kids after school and went to the toy shop so Gerrit could pick out his birthday present. Then they came to my place afterwards. It didn't take long and they were yelling and climbing the walls. I gave them one warning, and not even two minutes later the LOUD voices started again. So I said, " That's it. Outside!"

The temperatures were warmer and Auntie Camille had the six puppies in the pen. The kids had a grand time playing with them.

Anyone interested? There's one puppy left. They get their shots this week and then are ready to go.

March 16 - This was dutch Peter's second time out with our hiking club but it was the first time he had views of the Canadian mountains. Needless to say, he was impressed! He's staying with us till the end of July and works for us as part of his internship.

March 17: Celebrating both Corwin's sons' birthdays. Baby Neil's very first!

Was it really snowing just two weeks ago?

Goofy girls.

Gerrit wanted and dirt & worm birthday cake and his mom made one.

It was delicious. Gerrit turned 8 years old.
