May 30, 2025 -- Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park
Stats: 12.5 km / 1292m gain / 1928m high / 5:05 hours MT
This is a challenging hike but well worth the effort. The 360 degree views from the summit were amazing and personal, as I have summited several of the surrounding peaks.

In about one hour we arrived at the first viewpoint. The steepest part to the saddle was behind us. Chilliwack Lake and Mt. Webb to the right.

At the level section with it's wildflower slopes. The trail turns to the left at the top of the knoll to the right.

Lonja found a quick way to cool off. We put on our gators and micro-spikes here.

Approaching the saddle.

The climb to the summit was quite steep and covered in snow.

We had to do some kick-stepping here.

We had a long lunch break. How could you not with these views and the sun to keep us warm?

southeast

Lindeman Peak (2160m) + Webb (2070m) to the right -- south

Rexford + Slesse Mts (2130m)

Williams Peak (2010m) + Goetz Peak (1950m) -- west

The Gargoyles can also be seen from Lindeman Lake (lower center).

Porcupine ridge (forefront) that leads to Goat Peak is one of the hardest hikes I've ever done -- west to northwest. Greendrop Lake can be seen to the right.

Heading back down.

Leaving the saddle.

Good try Denise. The snow was just a bit too slushy.
