Sept 3 - Stats: 7 km / 531m gain / 1681 high point / 3 hours MT
This short hike north of Pemberton gives you alot of bang for your buck. In only 1:40 hours you're already at the meadows below the Train group of mountains, in the meadows dotted with deep green tarns.
A morning sunrise walk by the Gun Creek campsite by South Chilcotin Provincial Park.
The first half an hour the trail was quite steep, following alongside Semaphore Creek.

At the saddle where our "Wow!" moment happened. The pictursque valley of meadows and tarns opened up before us, backed up by granite mountains holding two glaciers.
